Christmas has a big place in Judd’s musical career – and in her heart.

She’s recorded several Christmas albums and onSouthern Living’s “Biscuits & Jam” podcast, Judd, shared some sweet holiday memories from her growing-up days in Appalachia.

​"I remember it was a big deal because we always chopped down our own tree…We would literally march out and pick one and cut it down. We had time and that was such a gift. I didn’t know it at the time,” the multiple Grammy-award singer recalled.

The singer-songwriter talked more about Christmas toBillboardin 2014, explaining that her five favoriteChristmas songsare “Ave Maria,” “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem,” “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night” and “Mary Did You Know?”

Meanwhile, Clarksonhosted and performedat this year’sChristmas in Rockefeller Centerholiday special and tree lighting ceremony.

The “Stronger” musician has released two holiday albums, 2021’sWhen Christmas Comes Around …and 2013’sWrapped in Red.
