Nash-Betts' birthday celebration began at the stroke of midnight when she was surprised with an assortment of gifts.
“It just turned midnight and I got so many sweet and beautiful presents. And I’m just grateful. I’m grateful. It’s a happy birthday,” shared Nash-Betts as she wiped tears away from her eyes on her Instagram Story.
“Why are you like this? Why?” the Emmy winner asked Betts, who she marriedin 2020, in a follow-up clip, to which she replied that it was “just the start.”

Later that day, Betts greeted her wife with food and a floral bouquet. TheClawsalum’s Instagram Story also included messages from friends.

Fans of the actress also used her birthday as an opportunity to share her iconic acceptance speech from the 75th annualPrimetime Emmy Awardsafter winning outstanding supporting actress in a limited or anthology series or movie.
The speech went viral after theDahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Storyactressincluded a shout-out to herself.
“And you know who I want to thank? I want to thank me,” said Nash-Betts near the end of her speech. “For believing in me and doing what they said I could not. And I want to say to myself in front of all you beautiful people, ‘Go on girl with your bad self. You did that!'”
