Justin Biebermarried a “belieber!”
The popular term was coined during the Canadian singer’s early rise to fame to describe his superfans, and on Tuesday, Bieber confirmed on Instagram that his wife, model Hailey Baldwin, was (and obviously still is) a “belieber.”
“People always asked me if I’d marry a belieber, well I did!!!” Bieber captioned a photo of Baldwin on his Instagram story.
There is even video evidence of Baldwin’s fandom from when the pair first met in 2009. In an adorably awkward interaction, Baldwin’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, introduces his daughter to Bieber, telling him that they’ve been “enjoying” his music. Bieber pulls out his signature move — the iconic hair flip — but Baldwin plays it cool, seeming completely disinterested.
From a fan to Mrs. Bieber, a sourcepreviously told PEOPLEthat Baldwin has been an incredible support system for the pop star as he focuses on a new chapter in his life, making his mental health a priority.

“Hailey is able to support Justin in a way that no one else has been able to,” a Bieber source previously told PEOPLE. “She only comes from a place of love. She doesn’t want anything from him except for him to be able to be the best person and husband. Justin is overwhelmingly grateful for how patient and supportive Hailey is.”

And Bieber isn’t shy when it comes to praising his supportive wife on social media. Prior to confirming her “belieber” status, theSorrysinger shared a stunning photo of Baldwin from a pastMaximphoto shoot with a poem he had written for her.
“As i fall into this blissful state I ponder on how you’re my one true SOULMATE,” he continued. “Its getting dark [too] dark to see A chilling breeze embraces me The smell of camomile fresh from the garden My life is a movie that both of us star in. Speaking of stars I’m starting to see some They light up the sky, reminds me of my freedom How big and how vast our world is around us So grateful for god we were lost but he found us So i write the poem with him always in mind Things all around us Just get better with time.”
