The proud mom then turned to the turkey with a turkey baster at hand as she gave Monaco instructions on what to before handing her the tool. “Into the breast, go, go!,” Mai encouraged her daughter as she lifted the turkey’s skin and pointed to the area that needed to be basted.

“Right here. Good job! Good job,” she said as Monaco squeezed the turkey baster in both of her hands, trying to point it in the direction her mother instructed her to do so. Mai eventually helped her at the end, helping to guide the the baster with her right hand while exclaiming, “Yay!”
“Monaco and I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🤎,” she captioned the short clip, also sharing a snap of the pair smiling at the table during Thanksgiving dinner.
Appearing on an episode ofSherriearlier this month, Mai expressed toSherri Shepherdhow essential her relationship with her toddler has been amid her divorce with Monaco’s dad Jeezy.
“Monaco? That is my North Star. And I can definitely tell you that, I don’t know if I would handle this the same way without her,”The Realalum said.
She continued, “Because today, I’m able to look at her and I can say what would I advise you? If you were in my shoes? And it changes everything. So I’m so thankful to be a mom and I’m thankful to have her.”
Shepherd added that she felt similar emotions toward her son, Jeffery, when going through her divorce with her ex-husband, Jeff Tarpley. “You go through stuff like this, and you look at your child and you go, ‘Thank you for this gift because I needed this gift right now.’ ”

Mai Jenkins and Jeezywelcomed Monaco in January 2022. Prior to the birth of their daughter, the former couple tied the knotin March 2021at their home in Atlanta.
The divorce document also states that Jeezy wants to share joint legal custody of Monaco. He’s also a dad to two children from previous relationships.
