I ’m not going to lie , I do n’t really need to know how to cut and make a calamus penitentiary from a goose plumage . No one does anymore . But ! I was totally captivate by the unconscious process of it . It ’s funny how he uses both vintage shaft ( an 1800 ’s era quill trim back knife ) with modernistic technology ( a NYC metro card ! ) .
