The list runs :

MacBook ( 13 - inch Aluminum , later 2008 ) , ( 13 - inch , other 2009 or subsequently )
MacBook Pro ( 13 - column inch , Mid-2009 or later ) , ( 15 - inch , Mid / belated 2007 or subsequently ) , ( 17 - inch , Late 2007 or later )

MacBook Air ( tardy 2008 or by and by )
Mac Mini ( other 2009 or subsequently )
Mac Pro ( Early 2008 or later )

Xserve ( other 2009 )
The computer will also need to be running Mac OS X 10.6.7 Snow Leopard or higher , with 8 GB of free disk space for installation . Essentially , that ’s the exact same computer and spec prerequisite as Mountain Lion require — so if you installed that , you’re able to be confident that maverick will persist on your machine .
