The biggest problem with Pastor Tom ’s decease last week ? He ’s the only one who know where Janine Crazy Pants has taken Rachael and her uterus full of sorcerous healing . And if you thought Janine had lost it before , the death of Pastor Tom throw her even further down the road of full on kidnapper . And her itemize scripture to Rachael ’s tummy in no way helps . She tries to do drugs Rachael to get her to ride out . And when that does n’t crop — and Rachael want to go say goodbye to Tom — she goes with old understudy of just lock Rachael in , Which left me wondering about Janine ’s sis because who has a sign that can be locked from the interior ?
Rachael then gives a very convincing public presentation of being on Janine ’s side , saying that they are all the other has go forth . And then she knocks Janine out with a kettle . Which , you ca n’t say Janine did n’t deserve that .
Meanwhile , using amnionic fluid from Rachael , has cured Ray of the disease , leading Dr. Maggie to think that she ’s found a curative . That ’s pretty much the only good intelligence . The bad tidings is that they ca n’t find Rachael , Marty ’s out of the treatment from the political science , and the government ’s adjudicate not to facilitate save the stagnant from cash in one’s chips . Which is a job , because they have the beat body of Rachael from last season — when she died for the 2nd time . Which would have the same magic amniotic fluid which could play as a therapeutic .
fortunately , Donna Murphy feels bad about let the Returned disappear again , so she manages to get Marty and Dr. Maggie some medical specialty .
As usual , the Langstons are unraveling . Grandma Margaret is worried to learn that Henry went into business with Addison anyway , and is even more scared when she find out that Addison ’s grandfather has returned and is advising Addison . She goes to Sheriff Fred and says she knows that Addison ’s offer to aid with the mill is a cozenage and he need to arrest him before Henry can misplace everything .
Sheriff Fred ’s still disordered about the whole “ my mother peach my wife into disappearing ” thing , but he checks out her call anyway . And , apparently , we ’ve reached the destruction of this game . Because Addison just admits to plan to result town with all of Henry ’s money and Sheriff Fred brings a check back to Henry .
But while he ’s doing this , he takes the time to suppose about their female parent ’s underarm and horrible tactics . Ironically , Jacob also give up when his household is damage . The pot of his Father of the Church hurt trying to hold him cause Jacob to go off with his nanna . Leaving Lucille searching for him madly .
Honestly , I like this season had stuck with Langstons from the kickoff . The disease plot has n’t been interesting once and Pastor Tom ’s baby drama was only supportable in minuscule dosage . And only fun once Janine snatch like a twig .
The family dramatic play with the Langstons , however , could have definitely been easily drawn out . It would have been a better slow burn mark if we could have kept track of what we get laid about that manufactory fire , rather than taking so many breaks from it that I , at least , had trouble remembering what we knew in this final sequence .
Plus , Jacob ’s sudden desire to leave needful building . Seeing his father old and nearly losing his theatre because he need to leave Jacob the factory , that would have been well than just “ Do you really conceive I ’m exit to be around that long ? ” And , because of the thrill , Dr. Maggie came around on wanting to know her female parent very speedily . Just so it would smart more when Grandma Maggie made her allow .
The Langstons have always been the strongest part of this show . And bind the interrogative sentence about the Returned to them , and explore in depth questions about having a female parent your age or a too - young wife you still love or re-start your life after you put it on intermission when your Logos die ( and discovering how your grief dissemble your township ) are all more interesting thing to pass time on then a random disease .
