Two of the class ’s most anticipated picture show do n’t come out this summer — they ’re the meter - move thriller Looper from Brick managing director Rian Johnson , and the new James Bond movie Skyfall . We have n’t catch too many images from either film yet , but today Sony released a few ultra - high-pitched - ray shot of each .

And here ’s the late synopsis for Looper , which comes out Sept. 28 :
In the futuristic natural action thriller Looper , time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black mart . When the mob wants to get rid of someone , they will institutionalize their target 30 years into the yesteryear , where a “ looper ” – a hired gun , like Joe ( Joseph Gordon - Levitt ) – is waiting to mop up up . Joe is getting rich and life is good … until the day the mob decide to “ end the loop , ” sending back Joe ’s succeeding self ( Bruce Willis ) for assassination .
