Two new cartoon confirmations from the Kingdom of the Mouse : there will be a Tron animated series debuting in 2011 , and a new Avengers series will air on Disney XD this autumn .
As we previously announced , Disney was considering a Tron television serial – this news got a lilliputian meatier yesterday , as Disney announced that a 10 - part Tron series will air in Fall 2011 on the Disney Channel . This series will be a forerunner to full Tron animated series for the 6 - 14 yr older set .

Disney also confirm that they would be picking up The Avengers : Earth ’s Mightiest Heroes for Disney XD ’s Fall 2010 line - up . This is n’t the Avengers first foray into modern animation . In 1999 , the mostly lamentable The Avengers : United They Stand air on FOX Kids . This show feature Hawkeye , Ant - Man , and the Wasp donning altogether rad 1990s exponent armour ( it was also canceled after one season ) .
