We ’ve been promise that touchscreen smartphones and tablet are the future of fluid gaming , but those of us who grew up with Game Boys and Game Gears bonk that strong-arm button and control stick are still the way to go . That ’s not to say touchscreen devices do n’t make for wondrous portable consoles , they just need a niggling help , and thistiny Bluetooth controllerwill more than fill that role .
Billed as the smallest portable controller you will find , the iMpulse is a miniature wonder that still manages to squeeze in a directional pad , seven buttons — five on the front and two on the back — and a rechargeable assault and battery trade good for nine hearty 60 minutes of continuous play .
That alone could make it deserving $ 40 , but the fact that it ’s midget enough to hang on your keyring is the braggart seller here . You ’ll always have it on hand for making Android or Io gaming just a little more enjoyable , even if it ’s so small your Nintendo - trained hands will hamper in no time . [ ThinkGeek ]
